What’s the difference between PINE II and PINE R?

PINE R is our first generation motion controller. As a central control unit, PINE connects all motors of slider, pan/tilt and lens unit with the powerful PINE Motion App. An affordable but powerful controller suitable for entry level to professional use.

PINE II is our new flagship motion controller. As the central control unit, PINE connects all Slider, Pan/Tilt and Lens unit motors to the powerful PINE Motion App. Near silent motor operation, full Bezier curve support, and the option to control via a PS4 game controller make PINE II our most advanced controller.

The Lens Motor Unit makes a high pitch sound

Try setting a lower motor current between 0.2A and 0.4A. The absolut maximum current for the lens motor is 0.4A.

We also recommend to set the Energy Saving option between 60-100% for the lens motor. You can set Energy Saving under the Motor Settings section of the PINE Motion App.

Can I take the rails apart for easier traveling?

Yes, the entire slider can be taken apart so you are only left with the 2 rails, the end parts with the legs, the motor quick-release, and the movable base plate.

Standard allen keys are needs for the disassembly.
