Description

Gunther Wegner has designed the LRTimelapse PRO Timer with the goal to make the most advanced and flexible intervalometer because he couldn’t find any intervalometer on the market that fulfilled all his requirements.

It targets mostly professional timelapse photographers and ambitious amateurs.

No fiddling with wireless connection issues, no mobile phone. Just charge it and connect it via a default camera release cable. It won’t disappoint it’ll just work and give you all the freedom you need.

The LRT PRO Timer is a small and light intervalometer with a crisp OLED display, a single knob for very easy and ergonomic operation – even in the dark and with gloves.

It supports two cameras, timed and periodic shooting, Flashlight feature for foreground illumination and most important: it allows you to shoot with the shortest intervals and dark times possible. This means your camera will be operable while shooting!

With one charge of the build in Li-Ion Battery you can shoot 20 hrs and more, depending on the interval and mode. Charging happens via any USB-C charger or powerbank. You can even continuously power the LRT PRO Timer via a powerbank or charger while shooting.

SPECIAL FEATURES OF THE LRTIMELAPSE PRO TIMER

  • Simple and reliable operation. Setup your shots in seconds via the simple but powerful builtin user interface on the large OLED. No App, no smartphone needed, no messing with unreliable wireless connections.
  • Very fast shutter release with no unnecessary delays due to autofocus signals. This allows the shortest dark-times possible, which is often a key to great timelapses.

  • Due to the high performance and the shortest dark times it’s the perfect tool for holy grail shots: just add qDslrDashboard or any other tool for Exposure/ISO ramping and you’ll have the perfect timelapse setup for day-to-night shots, checkout my Holy Grail shooting tutorial for more details.
  • Intervals can be defined in 0.1 second steps.
  • Easy user interface on a OLED display with rich contrast, which is readable in any conditions from bright sunlight to the pitch black of night.

  • Easy operation with one large rotating and clickable knob. You can even operate it with gloves or mittens.
  • You can store your custom shooting settings (interval, number of shots and others) as defaults in the timer.
  • For longer Exposure times of more than 30 seconds the camera can also be operated in Bulb-Mode. This is especially useful for astro-photogaphy. It works for timelapse and single exposures.
  • Smooth interval ramping / fairing possible. This means you can change your shooting interval smoothly from one value to another over a selectable time. This also works in combination with motion control hardware.
  • You can easily turn off any illumination on the timer. This is very important for any type of night and astro-photography.
  • Recording of unlimited images or a predefined amount of images is both possible. The timer display will always provide you with important information that you need to monitor during shooting: remaining/elapsed time/images etc.
  • The LRT PRO Timer provides two hot shoe mounts, which allow you to attach it in two different angles to the hot shoe of your camera.
  • Two camera ports can trigger 2 cameras in parallel.
  • There is a special slave mode which allows you to use the second port to trigger a motion control device. Triggering the movement will by default happen in the dark time, but you can also configure this.
  • For long term and construction timelapses, you can define a time frame in which the LRT PRO Timer shoots, for example from 08 a.m. to 6 p.m., also you can choose the days of the week on which should be recorded.

  • The LRT PRO Timer can be attached to any camera where a standardized analog release cable is available for. Those cables have a 2.5mm TRS (3 rings) on one side, and the proprietary camera connector on the other side, and are available for Nikon, Canon, Sony, Olympus, Fuji etc.
  • Small, light and resistant case!
  • Built in Li-Ion Battery, which charges via USB-C. You can also power the LRTimelapse PRO Timer via a USB-Powerbank.
  • The LRT PRO Timer has a battery powered real time clock which enables scheduled timelapse shots.
  • The OLED can be used as flashlight to illuminate the foreground for Astro-Photography or Astro-Timelapses.
  • Full support for mirrorless cameras (DSLM) via a special Wake-up feature which prevents losing shots when the camera goes to sleep mode.
  • Approved for cold conditions up to -20°C (will probably also work below that).
  • The LRT PRO Timer is engineered and assembled in Germany with the highest standards of quality, precision, functionality and sustainability.

*) For cameras which do not require the AF signal to be sent before the shutter release. By default, the minimum shutter time will be calculated as (Shutter_Release_Time + AF_Time + 50ms) rounded up to the next 100ms. By default, it’s 0.4 secs. For cameras which do not require an AF-Signal to be sent before the release, you can set the AF-Time to 0 in the settings, then the minimum interval will be 0.3 secs. Please note, that most cameras won’t be able to shoot such short intervals.

Attention: Li-Ion battery is installed; camera connection cables are NOT included!
